Are you Libertarian?
Libertarians believe that society works best when individuals have more freedom and less government.
"It is strangely absurd to suppose that a million human beings collected together are not under the same moral laws which bind each of them seperately"
--- Thomas Jefferson
There are two basic types of Libertarians:
- Rule of Law Libertarians tend to believe that some government is necessary and point to the constitution as a good example of the role of government. They will be quick to point out that today's Federal government goes far beyond the original intent of its framers.
- Anarchist Libertarians tend to believe the individual should be responsible for maintaining their security and protection and believe government should be as small as possible, or even nonexistant.
